How to Volunteer!

Fostering is the most important and impactful way to volunteer with our rescue.

Foster homes give cats a safe, loving place to land while they wait for adoption. By fostering, you:

• Free up space so we can rescue more cats
• Help cats decompress and show their true personalities
• Play a direct role in preparing them for forever homes
  

We provide supplies, support, guidance, and veterinary care — you provide love, patience, and a safe space.

We regularly host adoption events and do community outreach in Greenville and the surrounding area, and always need extra hands.

Volunteers can help with:

• Event setup and breakdown
• Sitting with the cats during events
• Answering basic questions from the public
• Helping manage foot traffic if board members are busy and keep cats comfortable
• Be an extra set of eyes
   

No experience required — just a willingness to help and love for cats! Check out our "Events" tab, and message us if you're available to help out! 

Financial and supply donations allow us to provide medical care, food, and supplies for our cats.

You can donate by:

• Contributing to our general fund
• Donating toward a specific cat’s care through our Facebook fundraisers
• Calling our vet office directly to contribute to a cat’s medical bill
• Donating supplies in person at events
• Purchasing items from our Amazon Wishlist

You can help us raise funds and awareness by hosting an event at:

• Your workplace or business
• A local store or community space
• Your social media pages
   

Ideas include:

• Donation drives for supplies
• Adoption events at pet-friendly businesses
• Online fundraisers or birthday fundraisers on social media
   

We’re happy to help promote and support your event.

Shop our Bonfire merchandise to support rescue cats while spreading awareness. 

A portion of every purchase goes directly toward food, medical care, and supplies for cats in our care. 

Bonfire handles production and shipping — you support the cats.

Follow us on Facebook and like, comment on, and share our posts. We will post current fundraisers, raffles, etc. on our page, and all raised funds go to support the rescue cats we have in our care.
